Google offer overflow storage for sale

August 13th, 2007 · 3 Comments

Google are now offering overflow storage space to those that need it. If you are one of the people who have managed to use up the free quotas of 1GB on Picasa and 2.8GB for Gmail accounts then you can go and buy yourself another 6GB of storage for just $20/year. Sounds like a bargain, but judging by my current usage (see picture) they won’t be getting $20 from me for quite some time.

well, i’ve never figured out that feature from google… i currently have 6452MB of email storage of which I use a staggering 73MB – but I can’t use the surplus 6352MB (I’d leave 100MB for email) and move the rest to picasa…

I’ll stick to hosing on my own server and flickr, $25/yr for fancy unlimited storage – free for not so fancy unlimited storage.
